Sample cover letter for Internship position at KPMG

Dear Selection Committee,

I am writing to express my interest in the internship in Fixed Assets Valuation, which I found at KPMG website. I am currently obtaining master's degree at Higher School of Economics with specialization in Strategic Corporate Finance and I also have comprehensive background in economics and finance. My current program has vast focus on real-life case solution, financial modelling and teamwork. I suggest such framework will be very useful to succeed during internship at KPMG.

Previously I have completed internship as analyst at real estate consulting agency “Billion Estate”, where I dealt with big amounts of data, documentation, market research and prepared reports. I also understand the importance of being a team player and my previous volunteer experience at international non-profit organization “Enactus”at both positions of participant and leader will make me an easy-to-go colleague.

Most recently I have worked for web-oriented project with focus on financial analysis and nonstandard methods of value forecasting. In my opinion, skills I gathered there can be successfully applied during the internship.

Currently, I have strong commitment to get deep work experience in the team of leading financial professionals. I would appreciate the opportunity to pass interview for the Intern position in Fixed Assets Valuation.
