Sample cover letter for Internship position at KPMG

POSITION:

Business analysist

Dear KPMG Recruiting Team,

I am emailing you to inquire about the possibility of doing an internship at KPMG in the period of June-October 2015.

As a business engineering student in my penultimate year of study, I am profound passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship and technology. The nature of my degree course has prepared me for this position. It involved a great deal of independent research, requiring initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills. For one course, Advanced Technology, we were stimulated to investigate, analyze and identify different possible failure modes from a technological perspective. These case studies required plenty of research and attention to detail. For another course, Project Management, an understanding of different business risks and commercial problems was essential. By doing business cases, a wide-range of team-working skills were applied in practice. In another valuable course, Software for management, the ability to use Excel for most complex business analyses were optimized.

I am able to take on the responsibility of this position immediately, and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I’m flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others.

I have attached my resume for you to review in case you have any questions. If you can work it out in your schedule, I would like to talk to you about the possibility of interning.

There are a lot of questions I would like to ask you concerning this internship and I know you need to get to know more about me before passing my name along to anyone within your company. In addition, if you know there are no internships available at your place of employment, maybe you could think of someone in your field you could recommend about internships.

I check my e-mail and cell phone daily. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
