Sample cover letter for Internship position at Likeable

POSITION:

Associate Community manager

GOT THE JOB? Yes

I am writing to express my interest in the Associate Community Manager position at Likeable Media. I was immediately drawn to the position, as it combines my enthusiasm for social media with my academics and career goals.

As a self-motivated junior at Rutgers University with a 3.8 GPA, pursuing a dual major in Business and Psychology, my mix of academics has taken my interpersonal skills to a new level and also provided an insight into human social behavior. My work experience has developed skills such as multi-tasking, problem solving, a fastidious attention to detail, teamwork as ell as taking initiative.

At my previous internships, I excelled at editing press releases, facilitating media events, and updating social media posts for clients. More importantly, I firmly believe that social media is vital to any successful marketing strategy as it offers valuable insight into target markets as well as their changing preferences.

I am adept at Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Google Docs and various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tumblr and Pinterest, and will continue my learning experience while on the job.

Likeable Media’s innovation and success are very impressive and I would very much like to be a part of your winning team. Securing an internship at one of NYC’s best places to work would be a privilege and an exciting learning experience, and I will put my best effort if given the opportunity.

Thank you for reviewing my application and I look forward to your reply.
