Sample cover letter for Full Time position at M&G

During my Summer Internship at PwC, I had the opportunity to follow workshops on financial analysis, which enabled me to strongly improve my understanding of finance. One of my tasks was to create a benchmark of useful KPIs in selected business processes clients, I then demonstrated excellent communication skills to present my analysis to the senior manager of the project team, which he then included in the final presentation to the client.

Seeing things from other people’s viewpoint is also important. Throughout my tutoring for the Quantitative Methods module at Maastricht University, my main challenge was to extract the needed information from complex problems in order to make it appear simpler. I welcomed the challenges of the question-and-answer sessions and was always looking for ways to improve the quality of my explanations. As a result, my students were among the best performing at the final exam and got an average grade of 7/10.

While studying abroad at Singapore Management University and actively participating in extracurricular activities as well as small-team projects I have developed strong adaptation and team working skills. Those are crucial in an industry susceptible to the prevailing economic climate, changing regulatory landscape and diverse clients.
