Dear hiring manager,

The ‘Business analyst summer intern’ position at McKinsey & Company would be an appropriate
locus to combine my practical experience and academic knowledge for real-time
implementations.
I’ve been a swift learner and adaptive to different platforms in various projects. Having worked on innovative installation systems at the ***, I represented my team at a presentation to the team of **** experts at ****. During summers 2014, at *** , I worked with Odroid boards to develop concise and cost-effective solutions for 3-D depth mapping. Currently working on the project, “Localisation using wireless communication”, I am devising network solutions to localise transmitters based on their RF signals. I’m also an active participant in *** wherein I’m researching and implementing mathematical trade models

for stock value prediction. At present, I'm the Bronze badge holder in the competition.
At ****, as the Governor of ***, I have demonstrated my leadership ability by successfully leading a 3-tier team of over 40 students. I have developed the ability to work in teams and demonstrated sound interpersonal, oral and written communication

skills at various levels.
I believe, I hold a good mix of academic qualifications and soft skills to be a part of a
management consulting firm like McKinsey & Company.
My value addition to the firm:
 Academic knowledge and skills developed through my coursework. I have been learning
several methods of data interpretation. I'm confident and keen to further take its
implementation to solve real-time problems.
 Exposure to practical implementation through diverse projects and internships, have
enabled me to efficiently utilise my skills, with competent time management to achieve the
result.
 I’ve been an avid and swift learner. Having maintained excellent public relations, I’ve
developed the ability to grow both with teams and at individual level. I’m confident that I’ll
be able to grasp the new themes that I encounter and effectively bring my skills to practice.
I consider this internship as a great learning opportunity to further refine my abilities. I am keen
