Hello,

My name is XXX and I am excited to submit my application for Receptionist/Office Administrator. I believe I am the ideal candidate because I aspire to work in television production and have the skills outlined within the position requirements. I've wanted to work in television production since I first watched Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee and was intrigued by the man they kept speaking to off to the side. That man was Michael Gelman, the show's executive producer. I still watch Live! today, except now it is known as Live! With Kelly and MIchael. As a long-time fan of the show, I greatly admire Gelman's work. This receptionist position would provide me with the opportunity to familiarize myself with the television production industry. I am also considering moving to L.A. to pursue a career in production, thus this position's temporary status makes it even more appealing.

I am confident that I can carry out the responsibilities of this position based on my past academic and professional experiences. I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications from Emerson College. During my last semester of college, I held the position of Digital Coordinator at Mineral King Productions. As you can see in my résumé, I am also familiar with monitoring phone calls and using Microsoft Office software.
