Dear Summer Analyst Recruiting Team

I am greatly interested in becoming a part of the Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst Program as Sophomore Summer analyst. I became interested in Morgan Stanley after seeing its passion for growth and expansion, emphasis on performance, and focus on its clients. Through my experiences with academics, extracurricular activities, and leadership, I am seeking this position within Morgan Stanley to continue their great success and to potentially meet the high standards set by the firm. I have a great passion for finance and investments and I am eagerly looking towards to gaining a hands on experience from the great leaders of Morgan Stanley.

As a sophomore, I have greatly expanded my knowledge of the financial industry and investments as compared to the beginning of my freshman year. I became an analyst within the PSIA where I gained a vast amount of knowledge and had a hands on experience to how capital markets work and managing stocks and portfolios. I have great teamwork and multi-tasking skills which has been greatly shown this past fall semester as I have gained membership into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated while also attaining a 3.72 semester GPA. Within the chapter, I hold the positions of treasurer and fundraising chair, and I have worked with several other members to create and develop educational programs to benefit the student body at (Univerity).

I also hold great communication skills and am very people-oriented. This was shown in my tenure with DSW as a sales associate where I interacted with a vast amount of customers and tailored the shopping experience to their specific needs. I am proficient with Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
