I would like to express at how excited I am to know that there is an opening for the position of “Social community manager” at Oracle. As a recent graduate with experience in communications and social media marketing, I want to show you that I would be an asset to the company. As the social media manager at my current company, I am no stranger to incorporating social media into marketing practices. I am tasked with managing and maintaining the social presence of our company, creating multimedia content, and track analytics to incorporate information into improving our strategy to pinpoint our target and how to communicate with them.
Social media has so much potential: it is one of the most cost-efficient methods of reaching large audiences in a growing technology-driven world, and allows companies to have a two-way dialogue with consumers. Despite its huge potential b it seems to be largely seen as mundane. I believe in putting 120% to each and every task and treating each work day as if it was my first. Instead of simply chasing something that I am passionate about, I have learned to be passionate about what I do. Through that mindset I have come to learn that there is a learning opportunity in every task and I make a conscious effort to look for it, which is why I have made it my goal to learn everything there is to know about social media marketing.
I see Oracle as a company that works to create a better future through its innovations and I want to invest every effort to see that it succeeds because I believe that it is the same as investing in our futures, which is why I am thrilled at the possibility of being involved in a company like Oracle where I can have the opportunity to help make that happen. Particularly with the Cloud Enterprise Social Media Platform project that I saw on your website, I would love the chance to contribute to that in the future.
