Sample cover letter for Internship position at P & G

POSITION:

Data Analyst

I am writing in response to job position (ID 476199) advertised on P&G career website.

I am Master (IT) student in Applied sciences university Frankfurt. Recently I completed my 3rd semester. After carefully going through different internship opportunities available; Business intelligence and IT infrastructure is the field of my interest. I am keen to further strengthen my understanding in field of data analysis and data visualization. I am optimistic that I will do well with my responsibilities if provided the opportunity to work for P&G.

During my Master’s degree I have worked on some projects related to data clustering and data analysis, which helped me further increase my understanding in field of business intelligence. I have already gained some understanding of customer’s data analysis during my last job. I was mainly responsible for customer’s technical advisory and business planning using customer’s feedback information. Apart from achieving the highest business target in monthly divisional competition during my previous job, working on five projects in one semester successfully during my master degree are most important achievements in my educational career.

Currently I don’t have any liabilities at university. I have already cleared most of theoretical subjects and academic projects. I am all set to start my master’s thesis. To get some insight into multinational working environment and to get better understanding of the topic I would gladly consider an offer to start internship and then hopefully carry on it further to write my thesis in the same field.

Finally, I would extend my best wishes for this piece of recruitment. I really hope it's going as well as you hoped.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
