After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce, (Marketing) degree from the University of Nairobi coupled with an LCCI Higher Diploma in Public Relations, I set my sights on exploring a career in business development. As we live in a world with no borders, being comfortable with people from different countries and cultures is far more advantageous from my international development experience in Namibia, South Africa and Kenya.
I have successfully accomplished my three year assignment at Lwala Community Alliance. I have been managing local and international program grants for their business development unit. My portfolio included Johnson and Johnson, BD EA, KIVA, Thistle Farms (US), Population Council (US) and ARASA (South Africa). Specialised in client and media relations; strategic management; budgeting planning and execution and providing transformational leadership to a team of 20 as well as conveying written and verbal communication to internal and external stakeholders.
