Sample cover letter for Internship position at PricewaterCooper

POSITION:

Consultant

I am a 1st year full time MBA student at XX school and I am extremely interested in the PricewaterhouseCooper’s internship program. I got to know about this internship opportunity at the information session held at UCI. The information session provided an excellent insight into PwC’s work culture. As an application developer and consultant for the client XX, I came across many unprecedented situations and I resolved those problems with utmost vigor. I enjoy challenges and I believe challenges help you put apart. Hence, I want to become a strong intern at PwC.

Having obtained strong technical foundation from XX School and a proven track record of professional competence at one of the most diverse company XX Company, enabled me to interact with clients across the globe. I was responsible to gather the technical problems of clients, to analyze and evaluate existing solutions, to provide resolutions and recommendations, to improve application performance and to ensure regulatory compliance. I firmly believe that this experience at XX has honed my evaluating and leadership skills. It has also provided a strong foundation for direct interaction with customers, practical problem solving and data analysis. My knack of formulating the best business solutions has encouraged me to be consistent and proactive at all times. I enjoy exploring and analyzing data and I believe in data driven decision-making. The contentment of meeting and exceeding the client’s expectations and my interest in problem solving has led me focus on this internship opportunity.

While at XX, one of my key accomplishments was performing an application Upgrade as a lead, which required working in cross-functional teams and collaboration among the team members and the clients. Also, it required performing the root cause analysis of the application issues. This experience has provided me with the teamwork, leadership and client relationship building skills required to perform successfully as an intern at PwC.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information or answer any questions that you may have. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
