Sample cover letter for Internship position at Rothschild

My interest in banking is just recent but very intense. It got me when I decided to regularly read the Economist and Financial Times. While reading about current mergers and acquisitions, legal cases and affairs that various companies’ experience I found out, that banking matches majority of the criteria I have for my future job. Whether it is challenging environment, dynamic pace diversity and intellectually stimulating tasks... Banking has it all. Modules within my course have provided me with enriching tools and knowledge thanks to which I have gained better understanding of world economy and business. It motivates me to dig deeper in such topics even in my free time.

I definitely want to build on my recently gained knowledge and learn more about what really happens behind the curtains. I believe that that the Rothschild Spring Insight week will provide me with opportunity to learn about different business areas in Rothschild. I want to get first-hand experiences and stories of a bankers. I cannot express more how much I want to discover secrets behind all the world deals that are going on right now. At least to glance a surface of them during the exciting week-long programme. I am looking forward to networking with all the presenters and participants and gain greater insight into Rothschild’s background, culture, work ethic and people.
