Sample cover letter for Internship position at SKY

POSITION:

Business Development Executive

I am writing to apply for the role of Business Development Executive advertised on the web page of Sky and enclose my CV in which I have systematically addressed the skills that the position require.

Recently, I came across with the fact that Sky is Europe’s leading entertainment company and I was so impressed with the idea of how Sky has chosen to focus on supporting young people, helping them to unlock their potential. The exceptional customer service provided by Sky across Europe and on-screen standards, Customer data protection and etc. makes it stand out from other entertainment companies and I believe no other company can be as good for me to rise which itself believes in giving chances and opportunities to the young minds and offering a great platform to showcase ones knowledge and skills.

This role of a Business Development Executive suits the knowledge and skills I have gained through the internship and on my degree. My degree offers a firm understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility and Governance along with Business and Corporate studies/strategies. The recent experience in ‘fraud governance and compliance’ has given me a wide exposure in a corporate environment which has helped me gaining and improving many of the workplace skills. It also taught me how to work under pressure and embrace multiple perspective while working in a team.

My CV shows a range of roles where I have demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal and organizational skills along with a pro-active and flexible attitude so I am confident that I can handle new challenges and provide innovative solutions by conducting thorough research.

In my CV I have also outlined my networking and administrative skills whilst working as a team assistant of an in-house accountancy team at the Bindass events where I shadowed senior team members in accounting work as well as communicating and liaising with a variety of employees within the events company.

I hope that, on consideration of my CV, you will be persuaded of my potential to perform well and make a real contribution as an employee of your company. I welcome the opportunity to work as part of your team and to put my training, experience and enthusiasm into practice for your company.
