My interest in SpaceX stems from my aspirations to develop both personally as well as professionally in a fast-paced setting. I thrive in environments which challenge me to think creatively and exceed expectations in order to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship for myself and my employers. It is my aspiration to fill a human resources position with greater responsibilities by starting at the help desk in order to learn the basics of the department as well as to gain a better understanding of SpaceX and its team. I am thrilled at the possibility to work for a pioneer in the industry of commercial space exploration which has demonstrated time and again that imagination and hard work create new and exciting possibilities. Accordingly, I feel it is important to highlight some previous experience and the relevant skills I developed as a result of those positions.

I have nearly six years of sales and supervisory experience which has taught me how to work both independently and as a team in order to thrive in a competitive market. This position also taught me how to establish and maintain professional business relationships with both clients and coworkers in order to facilitate a friendly and dynamic work environment. Additionally, I held an academic internship position in which I learned the basics of an administrative position for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) college preparatory program. Through this program I was required to use computer applications I was previously unfamiliar with in order to fulfill essential functions for the role. Taking it in stride, I learned the necessary skills quickly and ran through hundreds of applicants for the AVID program. I also conducted interviews for dozens of candidates which required me to obtain a fundamental understanding of what the program needed, and honed my interpersonal communication skills. Finally, I created surveys for both students and parents in order to give the administration a better idea of various strengths and areas of improvement for consideration.
