Sample cover letter for Internship position at Spine Scottsdale

POSITION:

Physical Therapy Assistant

Dear Mr. Sullivan,

I came across Spine Scottsdale’s need of a Physical Therapy Aide through a patient of yours’ recommendation and am now applying for this job in anticipation of gaining valuable skills relatable to my education, every day life, and to further my career in physical therapy work. I am currently a student at the University of Illinois in Urbana- Champaign studying kinesiology on a pre-physical therapy track. My goal is to use this job opportunity as a stepping stool into the world of physical therapy and to gain some hands on experience in this field.

While I have no previous job experience in a medical setting, I do have experience in communicating effectively with families and working with other individuals. From my previous job I have gained a wonderful work ethic and a demeanor in accordance to courtesy allowing myself to communicate and work well with others. Moreover, I am a reliable individual who values hard work, dedication, and my organizational skills dictate that I will be capable of managing schedules in a structured manner.

I am excited at the prospect of putting my current skills and the new skills I may gain to achieve the mission of Spine Scottsdale and would welcome an opportunity to speak with you about the possibility of me joining your team in detail and in person. I can be contacted by cell or by email if any further information is needed. To follow up, I will call you after seven working days.

Thank you very much for considering my application
