Sample cover letter for Internship position at Synpulse Management Consulting

POSITION:

Associate Consultant

Dear Hiring manager:

I recently learnt about the summer internship program at your company through the career service center of the University of Edinburgh and would like to be considered for this position.

I am currently a 4th year student majoring in Electronics & Electrical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh with an exact GPA of 70/100. I have had a great deal of experiences in developing software and building embedded systems.

I previously held an internship at Abacus Global Technology, a surgical robot design company, as a software engineer. While there, I developed a lot of projects on my own including an access control system PC client and an embedded smart fan cooling system. I also got involved in a group project for which my assignment is to develop a Microcontroller-PC communication module. Beyond that, I have had participated in a lot of Nationwide Robotic Competitions in Japan and Singapore.

I’m a quick learner as well as a team player who is self-initiated and willing to share. I’m an active participant who always gives constructive opinions and listen actively. And the most important thing is that I can provide the diversity needed based on my experience in different countries.

I would like the opportunity to discuss any internship openings you might have. I can be reached by my phone 077162730530 or by email at [email protected]

Enclosed is my CV for your consideration. Thanks

Sincerely

Cheng Xu
