Dear Hiring Manager,
It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application for the position of Business Management Analyst for TD Canada. As an individual who strives for hard work, team collaboration and challenges, I know my diverse skills will make me a useful asset to TD Canada. I have had work experience in office environments, retail sector and financial services, giving me varied skills and ability to work with many different types of people. I believe I could fit easily into your team.
I graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2013 with an Honours of Business Administration degree where I majored in Finance and minored in Economics. Here, I developed great teamwork and communication skills while taking on challenging school projects and extracurricular activities. Aside from school work, I participated in school stock market competitions, business venture competition and case competitions all which ultimately help me develop of my analytical and problem solving skills.
My excellence at school allowed me to quickly accelerate as a Business Analyst at 3M Canada. I am a person that pays very close attention to detail, especially when it comes to spreadsheets, reports and massive amount of data. I quickly taught myself how to manipulate data in excel and writing macros in order to manage the data efficiently and effectively. This position also allowed me to work closely with many internal and external stakeholders which helped push my communication skills to a new professional level.
Despite having a finance and economic background, my passion for analytics has been seen by many managers at 3M which resulted my transition to Compensation Analyst at 3M. Here, I further developed my analytical skills by learning how to create Ad Hoc reports based on different ongoing inquiries and requests. I also learned how to use SQL which I used to create different types of reports as well as using it to create territory rules for Sales reps and managers.
In
closing, I am extremely excited this job showed up because I believe TD Canada
can take my career to a whole new level. I’ve always been passionate about TD
and it has always been my goal to work at the largest bank in Canada. Whether
it is my skills or educational background, I am confident I can provide value
