Sample cover letter for Full Time position at Theatre Company

POSITION:

Administration

Hi my name is *********, and I'm emailing you to apply for the Office Coordinator position.

Theater has always been a great passion of mine. As an actor in this city, I have heard much about this company and the incredible things it offers to better professionals in their craft. A company whose mission is to provide a home for actors/performers to grow & gain experience in different facets is truly inspiring, which motivated me to apply for this job.

I have a strong work ethic and great leadership capabilities. I have such a passion for what I do, and commit 110% to every task I take on. This is why in the last 6 years, I've always been given the role of trainer and most times additional responsibilities. I enjoy working with people and go out of my way to help make things run smoothly.

With 4 years of Administrative work, I understand effective leadership, structure, and the importance of organization. With 10+ years in the service industry, I understand composure under pressure, multitasking, working with people, and prioritizing. I believe the skill set that I could bring to this company falls in line with your company's mission.

In my most recent work experience, I've been tasked with learning several new software systems to organize data, edit documents, and collect data efficiently. When I saw that a requirement for this job was the ability to learn new software systems quickly, I felt even more confident to apply for this position. I realize training is a time-consuming ordeal, but I believe in my ability to learn and adapt with little time to get up to speed. In many ways, I find it to be a fun challenge.

I have attached my resume and listed my 3 references at the bottom. If there is any other information that you need, please let me know.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you.

Best,

Name
