Sample cover letter for Full Time position at Tiger

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing in response to the advertisement on the Guildford Friary Centre’s website, as such please find my CV attached.

My CV shows that I have had a vast amount of experience in retail. The primary reason I was made the head of sales during Young Enterprise was due to my excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. I have further improved my ability to communicate with customers in a friendly and informative manner, through attending trainer/shoe selling events. When attending such trainer/shoes events I often make sales and widen my clientele.

Working during the Christmas time at Sainsbury’s improved my ability work under strict time constraints. I believe I am dynamic and work well in a team whilst also being able to work independently which is shown through my past experiences. During Young Enterprise at Collingwood College, my colleagues and I had to work together to reach sales targets.

I am keen to transfer my skills to Tiger and feel that I would be a useful asset to the store. I am available for an interview anytime and can start working immediately if need be.
