Junior Marketing Indonesian

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am applying for the position of Junior Country Development Support – Indonesian Speaker in Trivago. Trivago is the largest and most respected travel search engine that focusing in hotel bookings in the world. As a holder of a Bachelors of Science inInternational Economics and Trade (2:1) and a Masters in Science in International Marketing Management, gained at the University of Leeds, I have strong analytic skills. Furthermore, I have experience in social media marketing and I am very passionate with online business and E-Commerce.

I am a native Indonesian speaker. I am fluent in English and also proficient in Chinese, Korean and Malaysian. Having lived in three different countries, my language skills have helped me to communicate and interact effectively with different people and culture, this would be highly beneficial for Trivago specifically in delivering excellent customer service for global clients.

I currently work as an Ambassador in University of Leeds. I am working closely with a small international team, people from different culture and background. My primary tasks include managing promotional campaigns, creating country profiles and reports to assist the university target booming overseas student markets.

Over the last year, I completed two internships with local UK companies, Fifaninja and Sushiwaka, where I had the opportunity to make valuable contributions in terms of monitoring and analyzing market trends, and reporting research in a logical manner which highlighted information vital to my employer’s decision-making. At the end of my internships, I helped increase online brand awareness (up by 10%) and organized creative online promotional events. This has helped me improve my analytical and creative approach to the use of the internet for research.

This role excites me because of the opportunity to work with Trivago and exploring the world's largest hotel search website, to understand how the business including promotions works, and working with people from different background. I believe working in Trivago will not only help me grow but also enhance my knowledge in the online business sector.

I have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an extensive knowledge of web and social media. I enjoy finding solutions to business problems, and am comfortable dealing with complex subject matters. I enjoy working under pressure and have the ability to switch between several different tasks and respond to unexpected deadlines and priorities.I am a respectful and proactive team player, who anticipates the needs of his clients, colleagues and supervisors. I hope to meet with you at an interview to show you the drive, passion, and intelligence that I can bring to Trivago development team.
