I am a first-year Economics student. As the first year representative of Women in Finance society, I am enthusiastic to apply for the communications director position.

Both my personality and experience would be suitable for this position. Firstly, I am communicative, reliable and energetic and always feel responsible for my job. Secondly, being the leader of “ Chinese students care for animals” society and organizing flea market and recruitment fair developed my leadership and organization skills. As the executive of external relation department of UCL CSSA, I got in touch with different people and companies for sponsorship; it has strengthened my strong communication and interpersonal skills. These experiences have taught me the importance of organization, intuition and cooperation.

I love finance. Doing finance is an interesting thing; it enables me to create huge returns for both clients and myself. As a first year representative of WinF, I have been familiar with the working process of Women in Finance; shadowing different heads enables me to know how to prepare events and how to approach sponsors and HRs. I love this society and regard it as my family. From my observation, compared with 2014-2015 academic year, the number of events hold by WinF has increased dramatically, and I believe there is a great potential to expand this society more. I cannot wait to contribute to its development.
