Through my studies with a focus on finance, I developed a keen interest in economics and the financial markets, which is why I searched for internships in the financial sector, especially in corporate finance.
At my previous internship with Lincoln International, I accompanied sell side transactions. Through this experience, I gained an insight into many different sectors and learned to work to tight deadlines with great self-responsibility.
My tasks were to analyse business and financial profiles of multiple companies, presenting the results to the management and attending meetings with clients. Due to flat hierarchy, I get to work on almost every project with senior managers and thus I was able to get a deep insight into the world of M&A.
Furthermore, during my semester abroad I attend strategic financial management and financial information classes, which includes evaluating companies with the aid of market multiples and Shareholder Value Analysis methods.

I like to be part of the corporate finance department at Deutsche Bank because I like to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding tasks. Besides, it's time to move on to a bigger company like yours, a prestigious bank with decades of experience and success.In the course of this internship, I hope to improve and strengthen my corporate finance competencies in modelling and valuation and set a foundation for an international career.
