I am currently pursuing my MBA from IIM Indore (2014-16 batch) where my areas of interest have been Analytics and Finance. I have had the opportunity to apply my analytical skills at the Global Analytics Centre of Cummins India Limited, Pune during my summer internship where my deliverables were:

  • Create Safety Stock Planning Simulation Model to optimise safety stock level for different demand profiles which required basic understanding in Macros
  • Modify the Inventory Entitlement Tool and remove its inaccuracies to make it more suitable to the needs of the business unit
  • Analyse the DDVN tool and improve its functionality to address business requirements

I applied for the CFA Certification due to my interest in finance and am currently a Level 2 Candidate.

My high degree of motivation has been recognised by my previous employer who gave me opportunities to take positions of greater responsibility in a short span of time that enabled me to understand various aspects of the business. During my graduation from IIT Roorkee, I developed my managerial and leadership skills as the coordinator of logistics cell of Cognizance 2011, which is Asia’s second largest technical festival.

I strongly believe that my skill set acquired during my professional and academic career and the zeal with which I involve myself to the assigned task, will help me excel in this role and the subsequent growth of the organisation.
