I am a self-motivated and analytical computer science undergraduate student at The Sage Colleges of Albany. I am writing to you to express my interest in the Software Development Intern position thru the Sage email since we met at the NYCWIC Career Fair.

I believe

Currently, I am working as at the Sage Albany computer lab where I provided necessary IT support staff and students as well as gave insight of working in a professional academic environment. Also, my experience as computer Intern at the Executive office gave me hands on experience with BIOS settings and securing database systems in a very fast-paced work environment with deadlines. In addition to that, I have customer service experience and hold a high standard of professionalism. I am a student of the CIS program at The Sage Colleges of Albany, and the required coursework has given me set of skills that you seek. Moreover, Computer science is something that I find very exciting and I am always ready to learn something new and take on new experiences in this field of study.

An internship with Auto/Mate would be mutually beneficial. With my present skill and my passion for learning about programming and I am very willing to learn more deep into it so it give me a chance to work for a professional company and will give me hands on experience on software development. I know that the combination of my motivation, education, and experience makes me an asset to your IT department and at the same time this provides enrichment in addition to the core curriculum here.
