My name is X and I am a third year undergraduate student at the London School of Economics. I would like to apply for a summer internship at Goldman Sachs. I believe that I would become a great asset to the firm because of my educational background as an undergraduate student in the London School of Economics, financial skills and interests. Knowing that Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment bank that provides its employees with the world-class training and the growth and development opportunities, I believe that the experience would be perfectly suited to me.
The qualities a GS analyst must obtain, I believe would include quick mental numerical and analytical skills, and a detailed knowledge of the various sectors. These are the qualities, I hope to expand on.
My experiences in McKinsey, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte show that I am prepared to take any responsibilities and a highly communicative individual.
I believe that I would be suitable for the position because of my strong work ethic, commitment and skills I have amassed within my previous work experience.
