Sample cover letter for Internship position at bosch

POSITION:

project management

Dear Ms. Recruter,

I am writing to apply for the Sales and Project Management internship position as advertised on your website. The job description parallels my passion for project management and sales, with over three years of comprehensive experience. At the moment, I work as a Project Coordinator at European Youth for Human Rights in Brussels, where I have successfully organised 12 events by now, in Brussels and five other countries. This experience has developed my organizational skills in planning, implementation, PR&Communication and broaden my knowledge of the event market in Brussels.

I have previously worked as a Project Manager at AIESEC Bucharest where I organised the ‘GROW Summer’ project, which involved over 500 participants, ten international trainers, a 15,000 Euro budget and a total of 25 events organized in the course of 3 months. I was involved from the initial stages of planning until the end (monitoring, reporting and evaluating). Also worth mentioning is my experience as a Conference Manager for Regional Training Seminar in Romania: 4 days event, 350 participants, 50 trainers, 15 training rooms. This project, together with the skills I obtained in my other roles, as stated in my CV, has helped me to build a solid foundation of trust with a wide range of stakeholders, including executive directors, colleagues, volunteers and institutions.

My path in project management has also involved improving my capacity for effective guidance and the ability to motivate staff who I worked with to achieve personal and organisational objectives. Beyond this, I have also led on project design, budget management, staff training, resource management, promotion, and outcome reporting. My sales experience started in AIESEC, where I have participated to a large number of trainings and seminars and where I have been an active member of the sales team for more than a year. Even though it was only a student organisation, I have learned a lot about sales ethics, account management, contract negotiation and at the end of my volunteering experience, I have left the team with a customer care program that is still implemented today. My main focus in sales is customer retention and customer care. Also, there are no projects without sales, so I always saw this area as complementary to project management and seek to improve my skills every day. Regarding my education, I graduated with a B.A. in Political Sciences from the University of Bucharest and another B.A in Public Administration from SNSPA. Further to this, I also obtained an MSc in Project Management from SNSPA in 2015. I consider that the path that I have followed over the last three years represents my passion for the field of Project Management and also my suitability for this position at your company.

Given my related background and an all-time passion for the advancement of technology, I believe that having an opportunity to work at Bosch would not only allow me to apply the skills I have gathered throughout time, but also to acquire new ones in a field I always was interested about. I believe I have experience that will be an asset to yourself and wider team, and thus would appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate it. Yours sincerely
