Dear Sir or Madam,

I am currently enrolled in my placement year, which lasts until the end of August. After my second last semester at the University of Portsmouth I want to dedicate the winter break to get further work experience during a 6-months internship at Crédit Suisse.

For several years now I have taken a particular interest in everything to do with the financial world and as a result this has helped me clearly define my goal to work in the financial sector. Consequently I used my placement year to gain relevant experiences in this particular branch.My international course, which is taught half in England and Germany, enables me an international standard

Last summer I worked 3 months for Procter&Gamble in the Accounting & Controlling department. The challenges I have had to face in this unfamiliar environment expanded my capabilities in many respects and strengthened me. Morover I did a 6 months internship in Corporate Audit at KPMG. Currently I am doing a 5 months placement at EY in Corporate Finance (M&A).

The internship with EY will hopefully give me a deep insight into the daily work. But most importantly I also want this to give me the chance to bring the passion I have for this sector into the real world by supporting a team and proving my abilities.
