Dear Sir / Madam,

My name is [Name] and I am currently a second year Business Administration student at ESADE. I was recently introduced to your firm via a colleague and was impressed after further research with what I learned. Amongst other things, the emphasis of research in equity and fixed income as well as the unique approach to volunteering – making it skill based – reflect the genuine and innovative character of Credit Suisse – making it a very attractive career choice. Amongst other factors, the prudent risk-taking towards its business, which perfectly aligns with today’s structure of the financial industry, strongly reflects the growth potential of the firm. Hence my interest in pursuing a position in the spring insight program at your firm, I have enclosed my resume and background information with my application.

I have previously completed an internship in a local real estate agency where I worked with the client database as well as coordinated contract-signings with foreign clients – which required strong communication skills as well as teamwork, which are skills highly valued at Credit Suisse. Before university, I also participated in various volunteering activities, like assisting teachers in local schools with little access to English learning material to provide a better English education to students. I am passionate about weightlifting, with it I have learned and built upon a plethora of values related to mindset, goals, devotedness – and ultimately, results – that are applicable to excel in all areas of life.

Given my educational profile – which has always shown I am most comfortable with numerical/analytical subjects – together with the Business Administration bachelor I am now undertaking, I find I am a particularly good fit for the insight program position at Credit Suisse. It is for these reasons that I look forward to joining and contributing to your firm.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Yours faithfully,
