Engineering has always been my inspiration. I have always wondered on how things are made. This

inspiration urged me to select Production and Industrial Engineering as my base stream. In the making of

any product, there are two main steps involved Design

and Manufacturing. Out of these, Manufacturing

is the practical and realistic step. I have a great enthusiasm towards the Manufacturing field and hence I

am interested towards pursuing a career in the Manufacturing field.

Daikin is a No.1 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration company in the world. The internship opportunity in

Daikin would equip me with professional skills, technical skills, a global level exposure to engineering,

exposure to the corporate world, and the knowledge related to Air conditioner manufacturing and

technologies. The technical experience which would be gained during this internship program would help

me to gain insights on how engineering works at the industrial (global) level. In long term aspects, a

career in Daikin would be a dream of mine. I would be able to improve technically and I would contribute

actively as an intern in the company.

Among all the branches of Daikin all over the world, I am interested to work in Japan. Because, the Head

Office is situated in Japan and I would love to work in the Japanese style of Engineering.Other reasons

are that Japan is a good place to settle and I am interested in exploring different parts of the world. By

pursuing an internship program in Japan, I would be able to gain sufficient knowledge and prove myself.

This internship program would play a big role in my professional life.

For me , the greatest achievement till date would be to get the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana

(KVPY) scholarship offered by Govt. Of India and Indian Institute Of Science , Bangalore during my

high school.I was from a small town, and this scholarship gave me the exposure to Science, technology

and development. It was a kickstart in my career and interests towards technology and science. For a guy

of small town with very little exposure, that was a big achievement.I got the opportunity to do a

manufacturing project and got to attend two exposure camps to IISc and IISER.In future , I want to do

something great in the field of manufacturing. I just love it and I know if I pursue a career in it, I will

ultimately succeed.
