Over the past exciting eight weeks, I had enough exposure to both assurance and tax service to thoroughly understand the essence the work. Both paths are absolutely challenging and promising to pursue as a career. Even though it was extremely hard to make a decision, I finally came up with my most educated choice. Through working with professional teams in audit services, I was very inspired to pursue a career in audit because of three main reasons. First, receiving hands-on experience in audit practice, I can confidently conclude that audit pertains most to the subject matter I want to become an expert in – financial accounting. Second, I highly appreciate the opportunity to work with various clients and learn about different business practice. Third, I find my everyday motivation by exploring new working environment with every engagement.

Interacting and learning from professionals at Orange County office during this internship helped me gain valuable technical skills and soft skills. With that strong foundation, going forward, I believe my positive attitude, resourcefulness and uncompromising commitment will also add up to my contribution to the firm.
