Hello. My name is Wesley Chau and I am a visual designer who is interested in brand and guest experience through the immersion of entertainment. I am applying for the position of a Intern for the Fox Los Angeles, California Internship Program for Fall 2015 in the areas of Creative Advertising, Marketing, and Graphic Design as well as Digital Media.

WIth this internship, I hope to explore and gain new interests that would make me into a well-rounded designer who can communicate my ideas to people outside of the design field. This opportunity would not only help me grow professionally as a designer and prepare me for the real world, but will allow me to have a better understanding of how the entertainment industry works.

Through school and other work experiences, I have built up a set of skills that I feel would be a fit for what you’re looking for in an intern. As a designer, I am fluent in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Indesigner, and Illustrator. I enjoy researching and believe that ideas are better communicated if we know our consumer’s needs and wants as well as painpoints. I am also capable of thriving and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks at the same time. As a team player, I enjoy collaborating and interacting with other people to hear their ideas and opinions on different topics as well as experiences that contribute to those ideas.
