There will also be a Twitter hashtag called #Glitz&Glam where all photos will be uploaded and attendees can view the photos as a recollection of the event, they will also be able to view new lines, new trends and promotional material by french connection as a way for them to keep up to date with the brand, This also Allows French Connection to expand to a student based marketing stream by creating their own Twitter hashtag. As a leverage to attract students into the store, for attendees that take part in the event, they will receive a 20% off voucher, which they will be able to use within any store within a three month period. Specifically 20% because French Connection usually do a 15% student discount, but by adding a further 5%, a physical element they can walk away with and a photo they can view as a recollection to the event, this should attract student market to attend the event.
