I am a 4^th year student studying, and I am very interested in an internship position at your firm. My studies in Investments, Mathematics, and CFA Level 1 Exam have given me a solid base upon which I hope to supplement with hands on experience. I believe that my passion for the capital markets and my ability to work effectively under pressure makes me the ideal candidate for this position.

I have just completed a trading internship. I worked directly alongside equity traders and was exposed to a variety of financial products such as equities and derivatives. Moreover, I contributed to the firm by improving trade efficiencies and initiated projects to improve the trading system. One of my responsibilities was to develop a derivative valuation dashboard in Excel; I used Bloomberg for data collection and VBA for the automation of the procedure. The dashboard provided a quick overview of market to market value of derivatives, based on current market environment. I also worked with Excel and VBA to understand the actual risk statistics and rationale behind the investment decisions.
