Object: Apply for a bilateral agreement at Soongsil University in South-Korea for the second semester

Dear Fabien Roux and Philippe Baret,

I have decided to apply for the bilateral agreement that the University School of Management of Clermont-Ferrand is maintaining in South-Korea with the Soongsil University and I am very excited to introduce you my motivations through this cover letter.

I already have been living abroad for the last two years (Ireland, Spain and Portugal) and I would like to get to know another continent. I am very curious and I have never had the opportunity to go in Asia. I think this continent is now, wide opened to the world and that the job opportunities that I will take in the future will be linked, in one way or another, to this continent. So, I think that it would be a big mistake not to take that into consideration. I am aware that this experience could develop my abilities to adapt myself in every kind of situation and I want to take this chance by applying for it.

I have chosen to apply for the master’s degree in accounting, control and audit at Université d’Auvergne mostly because it’s international relationships are well developed. I am considering to help the university to develop them more by offering my candidature for the second semester of the academic year. I have read the report of the last student who has been in South-Korea and I have made my decision to apply mostly because the cultural differences and traditions are enormous in comparison with European ones. I am 23 years old and I am ready to face this kind of experience.
