POSITION:

strategy

I am a second-year MBA student at the BLANK of Business. I am excited to submit my application for the Management Associate Program at Mastercard.

My five years of experience in consulting and internal strategy make me an excellent candidate for the program. I am passionate about pursuing innovative opportunities and have a track-record of creative problem solving and using data to drive strategic growth. At BLANK this summer, I worked with product leadership teams to determine if BLANK should sell bundled products. My recommendations, backed by insightful customer segmentation analyses and dynamic revenue forecasts convinced the product leadership teams to begin implementing the bundle. In addition, I have been a valued leader within BLANK, where the VP of Strategy invited me to help design and build a new internal strategy and innovation team. Later, I brought the expertise I gained from collaborating with teams across BLANK to BLANK, an early-stage start-up, where I established strategic business needs such as competitive intelligence, investor prioritization, and pricing strategy.

Through speaking with XYZ and ABC, I am confident that I am a strong fit for the Management Associate Program. My background working cross-functionally in entrepreneurial and project-based environments will add value to a diverse and global rotational program. I also have a history of proactively seeking challenges and shaping my career – I thrive in a company where mobility is encouraged and change is expected. Lastly, I strongly believe in “doing well by doing good”, and Mastercard offers the opportunity to make an impact on a much larger scale and at the forefront of the payments space and beyond.
