Greeetings, I am Khai Jian and I am currently in my 2^nd year economics major at University of Bath. I write to you for the application for position in Corporate Treasury.

I have just completed an internship in RHB Investment Bank in Finance (Treasury). Through this experience I have been analyzing Daily movements and P&L. Also by preparing a Nostro Accounts daily. I have increased my knowledge on foreign currency and exchange rates. I enjoyed the fast working pace, long hours of work and being part of the team during this internship because I have learnt a lot from it and it makes me have a better knowledge on the finance industry and investment banking.

I have also been fortunate enough to be a treasurer in a camp organized by my volunteering society for orphans. Which I have learn a lot on how can a volunteering society get their funding form. Such as looking for sponsors, organizing fund raising and by collecting from member fees. The most challenging part of it is in controlling the expenditure of the camp. I love the feeling of being able to save money and spend it wisely on the other aspect to makes the camp runs better. In the end the camp did run smoothly and it is rewarding to see the kids enjoy it!

Treasury is always a role that I enjoy doing a lot. I am delighted to have the opportunity to work in the heart of a big organization as a treasurer. In terms of the skillset and attributes requirements, I would like to think that my internship experience has excel me in this position. Also, I enjoy working on my desk, meeting clients and managing money.

Given to my education background in economics and work experience, I have become more analytical, hardworking and passionate in the treasury position. I think I am a good fit for this specific role and I am looking forward on joining the team.
