Sample cover letter for Internship position at mvksmvzk

POSITION:

kzxmckvkz

Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is ________, and I am writing this letter to apply for the EY Advisory Consultant Program Internship for the summer of 2015, as posted on the Boston College Eagle Link website. I am currently a junior at Boston College, majoring in International Studies and planning on minoring in Finance and Computer Science.

My experience as an intern in the IT Project Delivery department at Aetna, Inc. has prepared me well for this position. Through my experience in the annual Capstone Competition, in which interns compete to create a proposal for a new innovative workspace for 50 employees, I learned what it takes to deliver a result to a client that is both innovative and practical. As a result of our efforts, my team was awarded first place, and Aetna, Inc. informed us they plan to implement several of our ideas in the future. Additionally, I collaborated with another intern to create and present recommendations for the department leads to integrate Microsoft SharePoint into their daily work, increasing efficiency by helping our leaders to make more effective use of available resources. Lastly, through the work of my team to identify and correct the inefficiency of the often-used Test Results Document, Aetna, Inc. will save approximately $100,000 per year.

I believe my coursework in International Studies has allowed me to study a wide range of subjects from a global perspective while developing critical thinking and analysis skills. In the same vein, consulting work exposes one to a wide variety of experiences and locations while providing the opportunity to deliver meaningful solutions to organizations located all across the globe. This is what I love the most about consulting, and EY Advisory is an incredible chance to expose myself to a variety of experience and industries while also impacting a global organization. Moreover, EY has differentiated itself from the other global leaders in this industry by the culture it has created amongst the employees, which I can see reflected through numerous awards EY has won such as No. 3 Company for Diversity and Top 10 Companies for Working Mothers, amongst others. These speak volumes about the company, and along with the incredible career development opportunity it presents, combine to make EY a unique and ideal place to learn more about the consulting world. Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to hearing back from you.
