Throughout my studies, I have developed strong skills in analytical and quantitative practices in which I believe are the crucial competencies in markets evaluation. I recently completed my final project on the impacts of fiscal regulatory frameworks on inequality in developed countries. The project required an in-depth analysis of taxation and welfare policies in advanced economies which improved my skills in gather and operate database as well as computer usage including the Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint. I would love to put my knowledge and skills built up throughout my course into practice and make valuable contributions to your company. During my summer holidays, I also helped my parents running our family business by sorting out paperwork and translate legal documents from English to Vietnamese and vice versa. Working as a Global Trade and Receivables Associate at VietinBank has helped me gain a better understanding of how different financial instruments operate to facilitate payments in international trade. I also have the opportunity to learn the procedure and standard documentations of Letter of Credits and Bank Guarantee through carrying out various tasks involving examine and correct errors appeared in relevant paperwork. My communication and networking skills have improved from shadowing and assisting senior banking professionals to deliver quality services to customers.

I consider myself hardworking, motivated and constantly eager to learn. Studying abroad in the UK for five years helps me learn to adapt to different environments by brings out my independent nature and communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I enjoy problem-solving as it enhances my strength to thrive upon difficulties. Outside my studies, I have also taken on part-time work and extra-curricular activities. Working at a restaurant gave me an opportunity to developed people interaction skill from serving customers as well as learning how to work efficiently as a team. I also acquired knowledge on the systems behind restaurant operation and management strategies from my managers. During my second year, I was Vice President of the Vietnamese Society at the University of Kent. This position required me to be adept at connecting people, organising social events and confidence in front of an audience. I also integrated our members into multiple charity events for impoverished children in Vietnam through selling Vietnamese food in International Fair or fund raising activities.
