Sample cover letter for Internship position at panalpina

POSITION:

Business Analyst

Dear Hiring Manager:

I would love the opportunity to interview for this internship position as it offers a unique opportunity to work on the framework of an end-to-end supply chain.

I came to know from an article that Singapore panalpina office has started implementing SAP® Transportation Management, Due to the experience of already working in an IT environment I can easily adapt to this application if I have to use it for different day-to-day operations such as forecasting and scheduling. I have read a lot about different kinds of containers and it objects like Bladder bags, Flexi Tank and IBC’s for lubricants transportation. I would very much be interested in working on the optimization of container utilization.

As a master’s student and an experienced professional, I believe I have sufficient theoretical and practical knowledge about forecasting, value creation and optimization. Whatever knowledge I do not lack I am eager to learn from this wonderful opportunity and would pick it up easily due to my strong fundamentals.

After you have reviewed my resume, I hope to meet with you to discuss how I am suitable to your team. I look forward to hearing from you to schedule an interview at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,

Jagadeesh Jalagam
