POSITION:

audit

I am writing in regard to the Forensic Analyst (6 month Fixed Term Contract) position which I was made aware of through your website. Having supported the People Information team at KPMG in providing management information to a variety of internal clients within the People Function and the wider firm, I feel that I can offer excellent support to the Forensic department's activities or projects. After looking through information on the position and on Deloitte, I strongly believe that the opportunity fits my skill set and would support my career ambitions.

Delivering globally in a variety of industries, integrated services that include audit, risk services, financial advisory, consulting and tax, Deloitte continues to provide exceptional level of customer service through its expertise and professionalism. What draws me to the firm are the opportunities to assist in preventative reviews of anti-money laundering and into investigations of fraud and other irregularities helping assisting clients in the development of internal policies during a time of economic uncertainty and ever increasing regulatory pressures.

Producing reports on management information for Advisors, Managers and Business Partners, has helped identify recruitment shortages, monitor cost of sickness and draw comparisons within other functions at KPMG. Producing management information has involved using HR Technology and manipulating data in order to best support the business and People Leaders and has helped me develop my analytical skills. Data analysis skills and an understanding of statistical principles have aided me in preparing a consistent set of metrics/dashboards on a regular basis.

Being responsible for preparing and reporting on the reward recognition scheme has helped develop my analytical and organisational skills in terms of preparing data in a timely manner, and assisting in producing key performance indicators in order to assess the company’s performance against its strategic goals. Identifying proportion of approved rewards nominated by each grade, average number of rewards per recipient and outliers in value and number of rewards has helped Reward Managers identify abuse/reward duplication after being nominated and has helped monitor award spend and activity. Working between the People Information and HR Advisory Team has helped refine my communication skills by answering urgent requests, presenting data with commentary as well responding to feedback with improvements to reports in order to better meet the firm’s changes and demands.

A highly ambitious, dedicated and committed person, who is always striving for excellence and enjoys finding the right solution, I believe that I have the right commercial awareness, critical way of thinking and innovative mind, in order to add value to your organisation.
