I am currently a senior enrolled at the University of () and am a candidate to graduate suma cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Mathematics in May 2014. During my education at UMD I was taught how to apply and understand finance and accounting principles and concepts. During this time I relied heavily on Microsoft Excel to help me problem solve and model various events.

In the spring of 2012 I studied international finance in (), during this time I sharpened both my interpersonal communication skills and my knowledge of international business as a whole. After the semester ended I spent the remaining month of the summer in () creating an online marketing and sales campaign for my family’s hotel business. To date the online presence has increased business by over 10%.

Throughout my education at () I was also heavily involved with on-campus activities and was part of many clubs and organizations. As the vice president of the investment club and head finance tutor I improved upon my communication, leadership, and organizational skills and learned how to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at once.
