I'm committed to joining an organization like Shell that has an established reputation in energy segment. Shell is one of the largest companies in the energy industry and I would like to offer my services and express my interest in pursuing an internship at Shell this summer.
I am one of the top 3 students in my major out of 120 students and have maintained an OGPA of 8.35 for the past three years. I am also involved in extracurricular activities and have represented both my department and college at various competitions. I am currently holding the post of Webmaster of the SPE Chapter of the University and also the post of Creative Head of the Petrotech ISM Student Chapter. After holding the position, I have taken these societies to new heights.
Last winter, I was a project trainee at Institute of Oil and Gas production Technology (IOGPT) where I completed a project on “Sand control techniques in an oil and gas well” and developed professionalism skills and teamwork ethics that are an asset to the team oriented environment at Shell. I am capable of being a team member and stepping up to the challenges of possible leadership positions. I believe my educational background in Petroleum Engineering would bring value to your company. A company such as Shell will be benefitted from a candidate with an exceptional academic track record and solid work experience. I also have proficient communication skills and knowledge of various softwares pertaining to oil and gas industry such as PIPESIM, PackPro, FieldPro, etc.
At this point in my development, I am ready to utilize my education and gain work experience as an assessed intern at Shell.
