The first year of college has taught me to realize that I have a passion in the food and beverage industry, and I often like to drink coffee and study at Starbucks. Therefore, I feel that Starbucks would be a great fit for me. It is a great joy for me to work in an industry that I am passionate about, where I can also serve people with prestigious food and drink. I do have experience working in a restaurant for nine months as a hostess/server as well as catering and planning events with as many guests as 150. In addition to my hospitality experience, I also have experience in retail as a cashier for six months. I have the ability to lead a team, as I did in high school as the Associated Student Body Vice President, as well as follow directions as a team member. From my experiences as a “Gold Level” customer, I notice that it is essential for all team members to have great communication and cohesiveness while being personable with customers. I believe with my past experience and strong sense of work ethic, I would be a great addition to your team.
