Sample cover letter for Internship position at transitions

POSITION:

analyst

Dear [Name]:

To the Senior Project Manager,

As a recent graduate in Business School of University of São Paulo (USP), in Brazil, I am very interested in Transitions and I would like to be considered for the Sustainable Sourcing Intern position.

My academic background in business administration, internship experience at sustainability department in Santander Bank, achievements in strategy department in the NGO Liter of Light and recent project in sustainable development consulting agency are the basis for my belief that I would be extremely well suited to excel at Transitions.

In the past year, I worked at Santander Bank as an intern in the sustainability department, specifically in the “Solutions for Stakeholders” area. I had an amazing experience with corporate environmental and social responsibility, sustainable finance and financial mechanisms to promote the green economy. I had participated in projects as: the engagement of suppliers in good environmental and social practices and the measurement of ESG investments impacts for shareholders.

At the same time I became heavily involved in the NGO Liter of Light. As a volunteer in the strategy department, I had faced multiples challenges, developing my flexibility, leadership and teamwork skills.

As a consequence I’m motivated to rethink traditional organizational structures for sustainable development, in a highly collaborative team environment.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this application. I would be delighted to discuss my candidateship in greater detail in an interview at your convenience.

Sincerely,

Isabella
