Application for Technical Project Manager
I would like to express my interest in the above position as recently advertised by your organisation.
I am a PMP® certified project manager with a bachelors degree in engineering and over 9 years proven experience
in management of multiple complex multi-technology projects.
Within these 9 years, I have spent close to 5 years managing telecommunication projects on a turnkey basis on
behalf of a number of service providers including; Safaricom, Orange mobile, YU Telecom and DSTV Mobile.
In all my projects I have led various multi-disciplinary technical teams in developing project work plans and project
budgets and ensuring that the projects are designed, implemented and commissioned within the set constraints of
scope, budget and time. I am also tasked with planning and allocating technical teams to implement various projects
including selection of efficient external contractors and service providers.
In addition to the above, I represent my organisation, as the primary interface to our customers for reporting and
communication of all project progress in relation to the agreed project plan. Owing to this role, I am able to provide
exceptional operational visibility to the client, senior management and stakeholders on any escalations as well as
propose any necessary remedial actions that may be required. This has also allowed me to forge beneficial
relationships with our customers that have proved to be efficient methods of governance and arbitration for
successful project delivery.
Therefore,with all the above in mind, I am confident that I have required attributes to be a suitable addition to the
