Sample cover letter for Internship position at yes

As a 2B Management Engineering undergraduate at the University of Waterloo, the focus of problem solving and efficiency are always on my mind. With this background, I know I would be an exceptional candidate for the co-op position at Suncor. I am willing to relocate to any location and contribute to Suncor for 8 consecutive months.

Over the past two years, I enhanced my problem-solving skills and communication skills by engaging in various research projects and frequently communicating with customers. I would like to highlight my co-op experience at SAP where I supported two database products, SQL Anywhere and Advantage Database System. I constantly contacted customers via phone calls and emails to ensure that all aspects of the situation were captured and customer issues were clearly addressed. With a 100% customer satisfaction rate, I was nominated for the regional quarterly reward. While delivering optimal solutions to the customers, I cooperated with three other technical analysts to design, create and present a proof of concept mobile application. The positive reviews received after the presentation proved my ability to multi-task and work under a tight schedule. Currently I am strengthening my understanding of human-computer interactions by participating in this field of research as an undergraduate research assistant. As an eager learner and an experienced professional, I am competent to thrive in this goal-driven and team-oriented environment.

I understand this is a “pipeline” cover letter and I would like to apply my knowledge and enthusiasm at any applicable fields in a dynamic and innovative company like Suncor! I am ready to take on any new challenges that come my way!

Thank you for your time and consideration! I look forward to hearing from you!
