Next Challenge: What’s your disruptive primary packaging design for a skincare product line (exclusively for E-commerce)? |

Throughout history, the introduction of new technologies has had an inevitable impact on the labor market, whether through displacing jobs, creating new ones or significantly changing those that already exist.
For example, dating back to 1974 when the first personal computer hit the market, the way people worked, the skills that were needed to remain competitive, and which jobs were created or became obsolete dramatically shifted. In 1983, when the internet was introduced, another major disruption occurred.
Fast forward to today where automation, artificial intelligence, robotics and the metaverse are on the rise. Already, roles are emerging, being repositioned or becoming redundant. Business models and ‘best practices’ for companies are changing. New skill sets are required and agility becomes crucial.
In order to remain competitive and successful in this job market, one must understand the impact technology will have on the future of work and prepare for it.
What is your understanding of the impacts technological evolution has on the workforce and society?
