One of modern life's greatest luxuries is the ability to summon hot water at a moment's notice. From kitchen to bathroom to laundry room, hot water moves through your home's pipes, touching so many parts of your daily routine. Often, we don't even think about how important hot water is in our homes.
For this challenge, we want to get a better understanding of how you use hot water in the home, as well as how you would innovate home hot water use. Give us your best, brightest ideas!
Deliverables
In your response, answer the following questions in detail:
- How do you interact with hot water in your home? Please list how you use it, when you typically use it, and how often you use it.
- What are some innovative uses for hot water in the home? For each use you identify, tell us why it would make life better, and when this innovation may be possible (now, five years, ten years, twenty?).
- What do you call home? Is it a freestanding house, an apartment, a dorm room, or something else?
