With the rise of cell phones, internet communication, and Voice Over IP, landline telephones are quickly becoming obsolete. However, because of decades of landline use, an extensive infrastructure has been left that is not serving its original purpose. 17.1% of Americans have already tossed their landlines, and that number will increase by 3-4% each year.

Deliverables

Propose a way to salvage the existing network of landline telephones by either changing the use of the current infrastructure, or by recycling the materials for another purpose.
