CrowdSparx is an open innovation pipeline for a consumer packaged goods company seeking to provide the highest quality products and experiences.

In the last 10 years, grocery experiences have drastically changed. Services such as online ordering for curb-side pick-up or home delivery have become commonplace amongst self checkouts, in-store handheld scanners, and self-serve kiosks. Grocery stores have innovated to match the Millennial and Gen Z consumer demand with speed of service and digital accessibility, but we want to hear what you believe with be the grocery store of the future..!

Generation Alpha, people born between the years of 2010-2020, are expected to have an ever increasing digital savviness as they enter the consumer market, and we want to know what you believe the Generation Alpha grocery store will look like.

Deliverables
  1. What does your idea of the next generation grocery store look like? (i.e. Entrance, lighting, colors, ambience etc.)

  2. What kind of Innovative technologies are used in this next generation grocery store? (i.e. AR, Voice commands, Register-free shopping etc.)

  3. What new services should be available in the next generation grocery store? (Above and beyond services such as Bread slicing, order pickup, customer service, etc.)

  4. What new products should be available in the next generation grocery store? (restaurant style offerings, Ready-to-eat, meal kits, Non-food products, etc.)

    Submissions will be graded on the following criteria:
